Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well I hope you have got all your Easter Eggs by now, I know my two great grandsons will have a Easter Egg hunt in the garden this weekend and I know they will thoroughly enjoy it to.
Well this weeks theme is titled "Girl Power" and I think you will find something in your stash to cover this and I hope you like my choice of image when I add it to this post presently, but first I must let you know that our sponsors are The Paper Shelter

and as always they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website, and if you have used one of their products on your card they will offer you this whole amount to spend but if by chance you use another make they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice so you really cannot loose by taking part can you? But please dont forget if you are entering more than once you are allowed 3 entries and at least one of these must carry one of our products either a Image, Paper or Printable.
And now to show you my card:-

This little lady is called "The Best Soccer Player" and you will find her here, we have in the family a very talented young lady who really not only loves playing Soccer but also Rugby so I thought this was a ideal image to use for her Birthday Card I hope you do to.
I printed her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used my Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount out of green card. The sentiment is one from my stash and the mount is a smaller one of the same die as the one used on the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of green card, the papers I have used are from Sweetshoppe Digi papers and this set are obviously about football, and I have used four of the papers and used a border punch along 3 on them and layered them up as shown.
I then placed a ribbon across the top and down the left side and attached it to the back of the first mount and then placed my mounted image towards the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish off I have used three football buttons down the right hand edge at the top.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Girl Power" Challenge.

"Biker Girl"

On Sunday last weekend I was sent a email by Dr. Digi with this "Biker Girl" image above and it reminded me so much of a very dear friend of mine, and as this week is a very difficult one for her and I felt if I could make her smile it was worth buying it and giving it a go.
And this was the photo that inspired me and as the friend in question is almost 86 I thought that the image was appropriate so I hope you like the result.
