Challenge #2 - Cards for Men - "Transport"

Well as Im writing up this post today (Friday) its absolutely blizzard conditions outside and Im sincerely hoping that by Monday it will have at least stopped and the roads are clear as I have a hospital appointment and I really need to get it over and done with, as its not a nice one and I will have got myself all prepared for it and just want it done and dusted. Anyway only time will tell, yet again we are onto our second Challenge over on Cards for Men and this one is a "Transport" theme so start looking in your stash to see if you have something that will pass as a means of transport.
For this Challenge we are being sponsored by Meljens:-

And Melissa is offering a fabulous prize of 4 digi images of Winners Choice, and here is what she says about her company:-

Meljen's Designs ( is a digital stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical, fun digital images inspired by her kids and family. The Meljen's Designs store officially launched on April 1 and it is steadily growing. The new store offers instant downloads, organized categories, and a search feature. We have new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Mondays and a monthly Guest Designer at the Meljen's Designs Blog ( Please visit the store to find more of Melissa's wonderful images!

And we were so lucky to receive several images to play with, and I chose to use "Puppy Pilot" you will find him  here and here is my card:-

I have printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him afterwards I used my rotatrim to cut him out and a inkpad to distress the edges. I then mounted him onto a piece of dark blue card and the sentiment was created on my computer and printed and then mounted the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first mount is a piece of the same blue card and the papers I used are from Bo Bunny's "On the Go" paper set, the first is a blue backgound with airplanes on it, the second is a dark blue patterned papers and these were layered up on the card with the mounted image towards the top and the sentiment is below on the right.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Transport" Challenge.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-
