Good Morning Fellow Crafters Ive been so busy over the last 3 weeks that I dont know if Im on my head or my heals, firstly I had my grandsons Daniel and Oliver to stay for a week, and no sooner had they gone home when I had 6 samples to create for my friend Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs ready for her showcase TV program on Create and Craft in September so I really wanted to get ahead before going a way last weekend and that was to the Great Craft Show at Stoneleigh Park, Im so glad we went Saturday and not Sunday as the weather on Sunday was dreadful we experienced it coming back from Northampton and its not one I would like to do again.
As I told you back in May that I had a problem with my left eye, now unfortunately the same problem has occured in my right, its called PVD which means the jelly thats attached to the back of your eye "the retina" has become detached and floats around in your eye, but the problem with this right eye was it tore a hole as it became detached, I have now got to wait till Wednesday (today) to discover whether it has taken as it had to be lasered back in place and sometimes it causes the whole retina to become detached and as you can guess more problems.
Well this isnt getting my card posted so I had better pull my finger out and get a move on, this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is all about using "Punches and Dies" on your card and as always our very generous sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter
And they are offering a fabulous prize of $30 to spend on their website providing you have used one of their products on your card, but even if you havent and you are chosen by Random Org you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice, you really cannot loose can you?
Anyway here is the card I have made for this particular Challenge, hope you like the result.
This little sweetie is "Si Belle" and you will find her here, I have printed her of and then coloured her with my copic pens before cutting her out with one of my rectangle Nestabilitie Dies, and used a larger one for the mount out of red card.
I have also used the backing paper that came with this image and again you will then here, I have used just the one paper and mounted it on a piece of red card, and afterwards used a piece of pink card and a Martha Steward Lace Border punch to create the border at the top of my card. I then used a Marianne die to cut out the Eiffel Tower and placed in the bottom left hand corner, and in the bottom right I have cut a Tattered Lace Rose die and stuck it there.
I then placed my mounted image in the center and printed a sentiment of from my computer and placed it in the bottom right hand corner, and the final finish is the spotted ribbon bow in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of my very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Punches and Dies" Challenge.
