Challenge #133 - "Kraft plus 1 other Colour" - Pink Gem Challages

Good Morning Crafters, well the Challenge over on Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot is all about using Kraft paper so it was up to me to think about which of the gorgeous Pink Gem images to use and I hope you like the result. As always our very generous sponsor is Janet of Pink Gem Designs
http://www.pinkgemdesigns.com/catalog/
and you really should pay a visit to her website and see what gorgeous images there is on offer. And here is the card I created for this Challenge.

And I have used "Spiderman Andy" and you will find him here, I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him afterwards I used a Justright Vintage Labels No.2 to cut it out and then created a mount by drawing around the die and cutting out by hand.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of Kraft card and I used a large embossing folder and put it through my ebosser to create the background, I also then used some duster and inkpad to darked it.
I then placed my mounted image in the middle and in the top left hand corner I have used a Memory box Spider Corner and a spider, the sentiment is one from Papercraft dies and this was placed down the right side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Kraft plus one other Colour" Challenge.

I cannot believe that I have been running this blog for 6 years and my No.2 blog for 4, those years have flown so quickly and so much has happened in that time, youve heard of hatched, matched and despatched well Ive certainly had a few of those in that time, firstly my husbands daughters have produced three grandchildren and my grandson gave me my first great grandson, then my grandson and his wife got married and also my eldest daughter got remarried, and to finish of we lost my dear father in law and mother in law and my own mum in the last five years. I then placed my mounted image in the middle of the shield shape and I created the sentiment on my computer and placed this also on a mount of yellow card. The number in the top right hand corner is a wooden one thats been coloured with a inkpad and is one from my stash.

As I already had several images of my own I decided to use this one.

Her name is "Delores D'ammage" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her and afterwards used Nestabilitie Die Labels No.8 to cut her out and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount out of yellow card, the papers I have used are from Sweetshoppes "A Fresh Start" digi paper set and I used one paper for the background and two for the mounts, the first is a dark orange yellow and then on top is a more citric yellow, I then placed a sheet of spiderweb across the whole card and placed my mounted image in the middle towards the top. The sentiment is one form my stash and this was cut out with a Heartfelt label die and placed in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used several of the left over papers and a few different punches to create the flowers that you see in the top left hand corner.

ABC Challenges - "W for Water"

Good Morning Crafters, welcome to a brand new month, hasnt the year flown its Christmas in a few weeks now I hope that you have started sorting out your Christmas cards, luckily I have spend three days this week getting them inserted, written and put in envelopes, but Ive still got six more to make. Anyway this months challenge is "W for Water" over on the ABC Challenge Blogspot and for this one we are being sponsored by

And here is the card I made for this Challenge.

And for the image I have used a brand new design from Marianne Designs I have printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him. Afterwards I used Heartfelt Designs Die to cut him out and a larger one for the mount. The sentiment was one I found on the internet and then printed this also onto white card and cut this out also using a Heartfelt Designs Label die.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card the 3 papers I have used are from Sweetshoppes "Make a Splash" design set, and I have used three papers, the first a blue background with splash signs on, the second a orange zig-zag pattern and this I used a border punch that looked like waves, and the third is a strip down the middle with stars on and a white background.
The mounted image was then placed in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom towards the right. The last thing was the six candi buttons that were stuck down the left hand side.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to our "ABC Challenge Blogspot" and take part in this "W for Water" Challenge and I look forward to seeing your cards or projects.
