On Sunday last weekend I was sent a email by Dr. Digi with this "Biker Girl" image above and it reminded me so much of a very dear friend of mine, and as this week is a very difficult one for her and I felt if I could make her smile it was worth buying it and giving it a go.
And this was the photo that inspired me and as the friend in question is almost 86 I thought that the image was appropriate so I hope you like the result.

Good Morning Fellow Crafters, well over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot we are trying to get "All Wrapped Up" against this cold weather, and Im sure you will agree with me that its been rather cold and Im so looking forward to the Spring and Summer and being able to enjoy going out.
Anyway as usual our sponsors are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.
But as always this comes with the rule is that you must have used one of their products on your card and this could be either a image, paper or printable, but even if you dont they will still give you three images of your own choice. I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter website and see for yourself what fabulous value their images are as well as being stunning, you will find them here.
And now for my Card and I have used this gorgeous image for it.
She is called "Snow Angel" and you will find her here, I have printed her onto white card then used copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a large rectangle die from Nestabilities to cut her out and the Wild Rose Snowflake Die for the mount. The sentiment is also from my stash and I then mounted his onto another of the Wild Rose dies.
The main card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of blue card and the papers are from Sweetshoppe Design Digi Papers and this set is called "Winter Princess" and I have used three papers the first is a snow scene and the second is blue snowflakes and the third a flowers design.
I then placed my mounted image in the middle towards the top and the sentiment below on the right hand side, to finish of I have used two punched out snowflakes and put them in the bottom left hand corner and in the center are two pearls.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "All Wrapped Up" Challenge.

Pink Gem Challenge - "Birthday Card for a Boy"
Good Morning Crafters, well its my turn over on Pink Gem Challenges to host the Challenge, and for my theme I decided that we should create a "Birthday Card for a Boy" and we do have some really special images at Pink Gem Designs for young lads so do please pay them a visit and see for yourself.
As always we are sponsored by Janet of Pink Gem Designs.
And we are so lucky to be able to choose any images to play with and this was the one I chose.
This little chap is titled "Josh with his Puppy" and you will find it here, I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie Die to cut it out and a larger one for the mount out of blue card. I have done the same with the sentiment.
The card base is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the papers I have used are also from Pink Gem Designs and this one is titled "Slugs and Snails" and you will find them here. I have used three papers from the design set, the first is a blue background with images of the puppy on it, the second is a blue paper and laid across the card, the third is a stripped one in beige and green and this was placed down the card.
The mounted image was then placed in the middle towards the top with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. To finish of I have used some Card Candi and placed them in the top right and bottom left hand corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team to see what they have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Birthday Card for a Boy" Challenge.
