Challenge #205 - "Flower Power" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, I do hope that you all enjoyed your Bank Holiday weekend, though the weather was rather changeable, when are we going to have some decent weather I just wish if would warm up, mind you the grass is enjoying it and is growing even better than usual.
Anyway this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter is themed "Flower Power" and that means we want to see lots of flowers of any kind on your card and Im sure you will find them either on paper or create your own or even the mulberry paper ones.
Anyway back to todays Challenge and as always our sponsors for this Challenge are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter

http://www.thepapershelter.com/index.php?main_page=index

and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website but this is providing you have used one of their products and that could be either a Image, Backing Paper or even a Printable, but even if you have not they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice to play with. So you really cannot loose can you? And the choice on their website The Paper Shelter is amazing they are always updating their library so the choices as fabulous and the price of them is really good to.
And here is my card

This image is called "The Florist" and I think thats self explanatory and you will find her here, and I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour and then cut her out with a circle Nestabilitie Die and a Scalloped one for the mount out of pink card. The sentiment is a Marianne Stamp and Die.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of pink card the backing paper is also from "The Florist" and you will find that here. And then placed my mounted image in the middle of the circle thats part of the design. I placed the sentiment around the bottom right hand corner, and created a bouquet for the top left hand corner and tied it with a piece of pink bow, and in the top right is another bow with a flower button in the middle.
Now that youve seen my card please do pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration in this "Flower Power" Challenge.

Nannieflash, this is such a beautiful card - I love how you colored your image (and such an adorable image, too), and I love how you made your layers. Your flower sprigs just top it off. Thank you for joining us in the Through The Craft Room Door challenge this week.

Hugz,
Linda

This is so pretty...every time I have tried to use this image I have smeared the black ink, smudged it, or dropped my Copic marker and ruined it in the final stages. I think I am putting off trying to make a card from it! LOL!
