Challenge #253 - "Ribbons and Buttons" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, I find these Challenge soon whizz around and here I am again hosting yet another one and for this weeks theme its all about "Ribbons and Buttons" its amazing how these Embellishments do their rounds years ago it was all about brads, mulberry flowers, but ribbons still seem to carry on, do you think we find them just fabulous for our cards I know I do.
But Im getting of the subject and before I go to far I know you will want to know who our fabulous sponsers are and they are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and of course they are the best company to work for as we are given such beautiful images, papers and printables to play with

and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website here, and if you have used one of their gorgeous images you will be entitled to the whole amount but even if you havent you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice. But please if you are going to enter more than once, you are able to take part 3 times but one of those must carry one of our images please.
And now to show you the Card I created for this weeks theme

This little lady is called "Sunshine" and you will find her here, I printed  her onto white card and used my copic pens to colour her, I then cut her out with my Nestabilitie Die and a fancy one for the mount out of blue card.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the papers I used are from Sweetshoppe Digi Downloads and this set is called "Rain and Shine" and I have used four papers from the set and the first is a pretty flower pattern in yellow and blue on a white background and the second is a yellow and third and check with the fourth being a plain blue, these were arranged as shown in the photo.
I then placed my image across the mounts and the sentiment below which was created with a die from the same die set. To finish of I have created a double bow out of blue and white ribbon and stuck it in the top left hand corner and with the button punches from Crafters Companion I have created three flower buttons with strips of the left over paper and placed them in the bottom left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Ribbon and Buttons" Challenge.
