The Paper Shelter 6th Birthday Blog Hop - "A Special Birthday Card"

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers as promised today we are celebrating The Paper Shelters 6th Birthday and we are going to do this by hosting a Blog Hop with both the A and B Design Teams taking part. I do hope you enjoy visiting all the girls to see what stunning cards they have to show you but dont forget to leave a comment on each stop along the way with a chance to win a free digi by doing so.
We are also hosting a two week Challenge so dont forget to also create a "Special Birthday Card" to take part in the Challenge and we are still giving a prize of $30 to the winner to spend on their website The Paper Shelter, the usual rules still apply that you must have used one of their products on your card but even if you don't they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and to celebrate as you have already been told the theme is a  "A Special Birthday Card" which I know will be extremely popular!!!! Our Design Teams have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from The Paper Shelter Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

For my card I have used this sweet "Art Nouveau Bloom" image and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card they used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a circle die to cut her out and layered her up on a fancy larger one for the mount out of blue card.

The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card the backing paper is also from the same design set as the image "Art Nouveau Bloom" and this will be found here, I then wrapped a blue silk ribbon around the middle and attached it to the back of the mount.

I then cut some leaf flourishes with a Cheery Lynn die and stuck them along the bottom and then placed my mounted image in the center. The sentiment is one from my stash thats been mounted onto another piece of blue card and then placed in the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used blue pearls in the top two opposite corners.
