A Christmas Card
actually I have had all mine made, signed and ready to post for about a month, I like to get well ahead with all my cards if I can and considering how difficult it has been for me this year I must admit its been quite an achievement, so I think Im well in my rights to blow my own trumpet.
Before I go on I want to give you some future news, in two weeks time we will be hosting our 7th Birthday Blog Hop so I hope you will be back to see that with the chance of winning one of our free digi images for commenting on each of the Design Teams cards, so looking forward to that.
But firstly before I show you my card you will want to know who our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website
But as always it comes with the rule that you must have used one of their products on your card or project, this could be a Image, Paper or Printable and even if you don't, they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so it really is a win win situation don't you think.
And now for my cheeky card hope you like it:-
This sweet image is called "We are Santa and Rudolph" and you will find it here, Im not sure my dog (a yorkie) would appreciate one of my great grandsons putting these antlers on her as she doesnt exactly approve of having a coat on when it rains, but you never know she adores children and no doubt would put up with anything from them.
I printed it onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens, I then used a nestabilitie die to cut it out and drew around the die to create the mount. Before mounting the image onto it I used some puff embossing powder for the bobble and cuffs and also the nappy which went quite well for me.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of red card the backing paper is also from the same design set and the image and you will find it here. I then placed my mounted image towards the middle with the sentiment which was stamped (about 6years old), in the bottom right hand corner, and to finish of I have used some glossy accents on the bubbles across the top.
Now that youve seen my Card I do hope that will you pop over to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for you and hopefully you to will be inspired to enter "A Christmas Card" into our Challenge.

Ha ha ha love this, especially the super cute dog in Antler. My family dog would be having none of that, like yours he is a Terrier (Jack Russell) and they love kids, but not stuff on them (or rain..). Thanks for joining us this time at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
