Challenge #345 - Going Digital - The Paper Shelter Challenges

Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well I hope you've been enjoying watching the World Cup, not thats its my sort of thing and luckily my hubby's not into it either thank goodness, though a lot of he likes to watch really isn't my sort of thing either but we manage to sort out things we do both like to watch and spend a couple of hours in the afternoon catching up with those.
Anyway this weeks theme over on The Paper Shelter is

Going Digital

and being that I work mainly with digital images and this is what The Paper Shelter is all about I have lots of images to choose from and I hope you enjoy seeing the one I actually chose for my card.
And you will find beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from to. Our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
And here is the card I created:-
This little lady is called "Retro Chic" and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her afterwards I used one of my Nestabilitie Dies to cut her out and a larger one out of orange card for the mount. The sentiment was stamped and created in the same way.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of orange card and the backing paper that came with the image and you will find it here. On top of this I place a circular doily and then placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have used several nuvo drops around the image and in the top right and bottom left hand corners.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Going Digital" Challenge.

Ribbons, Buttons and/or Pearls

And here is the card I created using this theme:-

For my own card I used this image which is called "Grace" and you will find it here, I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used a Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a fancy one out of pale blue card for the mount. The sentiment is from my stash I have used a fancy one for the mount I have placed it on.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card and the first mount is also the same blue card that was used with the image, the paper is also from the same "Grace" set and you will find it here. I then placed a ribbon around the card and attached to the back of the first mount. The mounted image was then placed on top of this ribbon and the sentiment then in the bottom left hand corner.
To finish of I have used some pearl swirls down the left hand side.

Good Morning Gemsters, this weeks theme from Kelly is definitely a challenge

Use Mainly Yellow

and I sincerely hope that you will enjoy seeing my contribution to this Challenge, but before we go any further as always we are being sponsored by Pink Gem Designs and that means Janet Roberts

who not only owns the website Pink Gem Designs but is also the designer and creator of our gorgeous images, so do go and visit her website and see for yourself what stunning and usable images, papers there are to buy.
And now to reveal my own card I hope you like it
I used this image which is called "Daffodils in a Vase" and you will find it here, I printed it onto white card before using my copic pens to colour it. Afterwards I used my rectangle Nestabilitie dies to cut it out and a larger one for the mount out of yellow card, the sentiment was from my stash and I stamped it onto a smaller diecut and mounted it again on the same yellow card as the mount.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with another piece of the same yellow card for the first mount the papers this time are from Pink Gem Designs and are called "Licorice Cream" and I used two of the designs and laid them across the card and a Martha Stewart border punch along the edge of it and then put a piece of yellow ribbon just under this edge.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the Pink Gem Designs Challenge Blogspot and you can see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and I hope that you will take part in our "Use mainly Yellow" Challenge.
