A Card for two Challenges

Good Morning Ladies, well the weather has broken and we are now experiencing heavy rain again, it looks as if our Indian Summer has now finished and of course the children are back to School tomorrow so at least mums wont have them moaning about not being able to get outside after today. Hubby has rung to say that he might be back home soon as theres not a lot of work they can achieve with the rain so Ive no doubt it wont be long before he walks back through the back door.
Never mind todays card has been created for this weeks Mos Challenge "Shades of Brown, Age it and Antique it" and this months Sir Stampalots Challenge "All Distressed" and Ive used this image of a little girl sitting in a window reading, Ive printed her onto coated white card and coloured her with my copic pens. Then for a change Ive created a window in some double sided paper from Minds Eye cut it and torn it back and used some pearl staples to pin it back into a square for my image to stick behind. The sentiment is one I created on my computer and used one of my nestabilitie dies to cut it out and then drew around the edge to create the mount for it.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a piece of beige card, onto this I have stuck my one sheet of paper that Ive distressed and torn around the edge this was done using the Tim Holtz distressing tool, before sticking it down Ive wrapped a piece of lace around the left side and used one of the staples to keep it in place and stuck it to the back of the first mount.
To finish of I found a distressed looking rose and stuck it at the top on the right with some punched out fern leaves.
This card is to be entered in the following challenges:-

Since, however, is a very beautiful design of the card. The square little superscript and then the top. Very chic.
