A Card for Two Challenges -Mo's and Cute Card Thursday's

Good Afternoon All, sorry Ive not been around for a few days Im taking it a bit easy and only doing the odd challenge as I find my stash of cards is begining to overflow and to keep them safe Im having to push them into overflowing boxes so I hope you will understand if you dont see me to often. Anyway todays card has been created for this weeks Mo's "Pearls and Flowers" and Cute Card Thursday's "Sketch" Challenges, and I must admit Ive slightly played around a bit with the sketch just hope they wont be to upset. Ive used this sweet fairy image from Mo and printed her onto white card before colouring her with my copic pens, I then cut her out with a large square Nestabilitie Die and then used my rotatrim to make the mount, the sentiment is one from my stash I think its one of the Hero Arts cling stamps not totally sure though, and Ive treated it in the same way as the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue pearlescent card and one of three papers from the new Nitwits "Blueberry Cottage" digi downloads, the first paper is a very pretty blue background with white flowers on, the second is a heart pattern on a white background and the third a stripe paper in several colours. I then positioned my mounted image in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of Ive used my Upsy Daisy Flower punch to cut out many layers from some of the left over paper and then threaded a pearl brad through the centre, afterwards I stuck to my card with some silicone glue on top of some punched out leaves. The last thing is the pearls that have been stuck in the two opposite corners.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

I love your card Shirley the colours and papers are so pretty.
I had that problem a while ago with too many cards, so used them for everyones birthdays and only made DT cards and stayed off challenges for a while. It was amazing how fast my little stock went down.
Happy crafting

Hi Shirley! Beautiful card. I just love blues and this girl is so sweet. Thanks for playing at Mo's. :-)
I contacted Samantha about her gosling, thanks for passing her on to me, we got to chat a bit about fowl things. lol
I definately know what you mean about too many cards. I'm thinking of bundling mine up in groups of say 6 or 8 and giving them as gifts just to cut the stash down a bit. The other idea is to bundle them and use them as RAK blog candy.
I probably have well over 100 cards sitting in boxes. Organized, but just sitting. And the longer they sit the less I like them and the less I want to pass on my "inferiors" so I must do it soon!! :-D
Hugs,
Dorcas

Hi Shirley, I think you've started us all off now about the amount of cards we have stashed, oh dear, where to put them next, I agree with Dorcas too, the longer you have them the more you don't like them....lol...
