The Fourteenth Challenge for The Paper Shelter "Distress to Impress"

Good Morning Everyone, youve guessed yes we have now reached our fourteenth challenge and this one is "Distress to Impress" and this is as it says you must use distressing in creating your card in anyway you feel is right for you.
And our fabulous sponsers are The Paper Shelter
and they are offering you a prize a voucher of 15$ to spend in their shop for anyone being picked by random number who has used their images and if they havent they will still be elegible to pick one of their images from their webshop here, you will be surprised at the fabulous range of images they have to offer and also now stunning paper sets that go with them, please do pop across and visit for yourselves.
This is my card for this Challenge,
and I have used this sweet image of "Zoe in Spring" and you will find her here Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour her, then I tore her around the edges and inked them with a blue inkpad to distress them. The sentiment is one from my stash and Ive done the same thing with this as I did with the image.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue pearlescent card with a paper from the "Sophie from the Country" paper pack from The Paper Shelter, the first one is blue paper then on top I have used a yellow diamond pattern one and down both sides I have used one of the deep border punches from Martha Stewart. Around the middle I have wrapped a piece of cream lace and then along the top I have put a cream ribbon and attached both to the back of the first mount.
The mounted image was then positioned in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right. I then used some of the left over paper from the same set of papers to create the flowers that were cut out with the Marianne flower dies, they were stuck to my card with silicone glue on top of some punched out leaves.
Now that youve seen my card I would love for you to pop across to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented team have created for you and hopefully it will inspire you also will take part in this weeks Challenge.
