Cards for Men - Challenge 14 - "Wild West"

Good Morning Everyone, I firstly apologise for being so lapse in not only posting cards but also commenting recently, as you are probably aware by now weve got a new puppy, and with her has come some responsibilities, that being puppy training so I have to spent a lot of time encouraging her to use the backgarden, as soon as I get that cracked I will be having my two grandsons to stay in three weeks time and hopefully after theyve gone I might start to get some order into my life again, so please bear with me, I will try and post a least two cards a week and hopefully if I dont manage that I will try and visit and comment on your cards instead. Anyway getting back to this fortnights Challenge for Cards for Men, its a really fabulous one "Wild West" and we are being sponsered by a very popular company this time,
and they are offering a really spectacular prize of 4 digis isnt that fabulous, I love their stamps and digi images and I know a lot of you do to, anyway this is what Melissa says about her company:-

Meljen's Designs is a lovely stamp company owned and illustrated by Melissa Jenkins. She illustrates whimsical rubber and digital images inspired by her kids and family. Meljen's Designs has new releases along with a new challenge every Thursday, freebies every Monday and a Guest Designer each month at the Meljen's Designs Blog. Please visit the Meljen's Designs line of stamps at the WHIMSY STAMPS STORE to browse and enjoy Melissa's wonderful images!
And here is the Card I created for this Challenges,
Dont you just love this little character hes having so much fun with his teddy bear, Ive printed him onto white card before colouring him with my copic and tria pens, after which I used Nestabilitie Die No.1 to cut him out and then used the die to create the mount of some dark blue card, the sentiment is one I created on the computer and this was then printed and cut out with one of the Go Kreate tag dies, and I even created a mount out of some blue card for this also, then tied some garden string through the hole.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of blue card and one of two papers from the "Giddy Up" digi download from Nitwits, the first paper is a design of a cowboy shirt, and on top I have put a strip of one of the sentiment papers, then mounted my image towards the left with the sentiment tag just tucked in at the end on the right. To finish of I have popped some charms I found that went with the theme down the right handside, and the last little touch is the swirl of rope which I create with some more of the garden string.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pop over to The Cards for Men Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of my fellow team members have created for your inspiration, I do hope you will be taking part in this challenge, and Im looking forward to seeing exactly what youve done.
