Card for Mo's Challenge "Furry Friends"

Good Afternoon Everyone, wow what fabulous weather weve been having these last few days, my pup is enjoying it she will sleep in the sun then when she gets to hot she moves into the kitchen onto the lino to cool of, at the moment shes sleeping by the side of me on the settee. Shes been a bit accident prone these last couple of weeks she came back from her few days with the breeder with a limp and it turned out it was a bruised right front knee, then yesterday the daft dog went and hurt her back left leg jumping of the computer chair in my hubby room not sure what she did but she came into me limping on three legs, we are supposed to be resting her but how can you shes like a cat and will jump up on anything given a chance. Oh well will just have to keep my eyes open all the time. She certainly looks good in her new clipped coat which has been a godsend in this hot weather.
Anyway todays card has been created for this weeks Mo's Challenge "Furry Friends", I seem to spend a lot of time on creating DT cards that I thought it was time to make one for myself and thought this was an ideal Challenge to start of with, Ive used this sweet lad with his cat, not sure if hes enjoying being carried like that but I printed them onto white card then coloured him with my copic pens. I then cut it out with Nestabilitie Die Labels No.18 and then drew around the die to create the mount out of grey card. The sentiment is one from my stash which I thought was just right for these two.
The base card is 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of grey card and one of three papers from the First Edition "Animal Antics" paper pad, the first pattern is a yellow background with several different animals on, the second paper is a lime green spot and down one edge I have used the EK Success paw print border punch, on top is the third paper which is a cream background with large spots with sentiments in them. I then wrapped some rafia ribbon around the card and tied a knot at the back.
I then positioned my mounted image in the center with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side, to finish of I have stuck two cat buttons down the right hand side at the top.
This card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Cuddly Buddly's Challenge 13 - "Big it Up!" add BIG Number or Letter

Good Morning Everyone, it does seem strange to be home its been such a busy few days and trying to get back to normal is taking time, and of course we went to pick up our baby yesterday and she was so excited to see us, but now shes feeling a little down and is limping a bit, not sure whats shes done and if it doesnt improve today a trip to the vets I think is called for. Anyway back to this weeks Challenge from Cuddly Buddly we want to see "A BIG Number or Letter" on your cards and its my turn this time to use Kim's own beautiful images and papers and I chose one of the "Eliza and Bro" images called "Birthday Girl" and created a card for our little granddaughter who will be the big "4" next year, you will find the image here in the Cuddly Buddly Webshop.
Ive printed her onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour her, then cut her out with Nestabilitie Die Labels 8 and then drawn around the same die to create the mount out of pink card. The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card and one of three beautiful papers from Kim's "Cottage Garden, Poppy" digi paper Collection and you will find them here. The first one is a very pretty pink background with daisies on, and on top is a strip of pink card with the second paper a pink and white spotted paper. And with the last one which is a pretty lace pattern I have used one of the Cherry Lynn Doily Dies and stuck it down just under the mount going down the card.
I then wrapped a beautiful piece of white lace around the middle with a pink heart ribbon along the top and stuck it to the back of the first mount. I then positioned my image in the centre and created a badge Sentiment with a large number 4 on my computer in My Craft Studio graphics program and cut it out with one of the circle nestabilitie dies, then used a larger one for the mount. I did use some glitter on the number though it isnt to easy to see. To finish of Ive used some of the left over paper to create the rolled flowers in the top left hand corner which have been attached to the card with silicone glue on top of some punched out leaves.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will go and visit The Cuddly Buddly Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the very talented team have created for you and hopefully it will inspire you to take part in this "Big it Up" Challenge this week.

Sample Five for Sarah Hallam - "Rabbit"

Good Morning Everyone, well the cloud is back again but its still quite warm here in Gloucestershire and hubby has gone of to do his volunteering at our local Steam Railway The Forest of Dean Railway, he loves being involved with that, hes actually helping to restore a signal box which will hopefully be reinstalled at Parkend sometime next year. When they dismantled it they tore out all the insides of the signal box so my hubby and his friends will have to completely rebuilt it again, its so nice to think that some time in the future there will be another signal box brought back to life again.
Anyway today Im posting my five sample for Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs from her brand new "Forest Fantasy" Cd, and this little lass is looking at a rabbit though you wouldnt know that as its not showing on the topper, I have also built the inside as well for you to see, the whole card design is a staggered gatefold, Sarah does create not only gorgeous and stunning toppers but beautiful backing papers that co-ordinate with them. I do hope you like it and tomorrow I have the most beautiful baby card to show you.

Sarah Hallam of Peerless Designs has a brand new "Woodland Fantasy" Cd

For the last three days I have been posting on my No.2 Blog my samples for Sarah Hallam's brand new "Woodland Fantasy" Cd that is due to be previewed on Create and Craft on the 15th September at 11am, and I thought I ought to share with you the last three samples that I have just finished today ready to post to Sarah later on.
This image is titled "Dragonfly" the little lad with a nut hat and the most bluest of eyes is holding onto a string thats attached to the dragonfly, not something I would approve of but Sarah has a fun sort of mind on these things. I have created a double easel card with two of the toppers and then used two of the backing papers for the inside, I also wrapped a beautiful ribbon around the second one and then took the topper into My Craft Studio to put the sentiment onto it.
I do hope that you like what you see and will be back tomorrow with the 5th Sample, completely different again. And if youd like to see the other three samples please click on this Link.
