And now for my Card:-

I have printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterwards I have used a oval die to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount out of beige card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with the backing paper from the image, then I have placed my mounted image towards the left and I then created a floral spray with pine cones, die cut fern leaves and holly berries and a red ribbon in the middle. The sentiment is one of a die cut that I have in my stash.

A Card for Sundays with Santa Facebook Challenge

Good Morning Crafters, well its been a wonderful week, firstly I had my birthday on Tuesday and Ive got to thank all those lovely people who sent me cards and those who did a bit more, like leave messages on Facebook for me and for the pressies to. Thank you so much you very dear friends.
Anyway todays card is for this weeks "Anything Goes" Challenge over on Facebook, the challenge is for Sundays with Santa, there are only a few of us who are still posting cards every week but I like to do so to improve my stock for the sending out on Christmas as I really dont want to have rush at the last minute. This image is from Joanna Sheens "Holypond Christmas Card" Cd and I have used this image and the papers to.
I have layered it up onto red card the papers and the image, then across the middle I have wrapped a very pretty ribbon and stuck in to the back of the first mount. I have put the mounted image towards the left hand side and the sentiment on the right towards the top.

Challenge #139 - "Shopping Spree" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Crafters, well yet its another week passed and we have a brand new Challenge over on The Paper Shelter its themed "Shopping Spree" and its caused quite a few problems with the Team to find appropriate images for it and you will find the rest of the girls have been very inventive with theirs. But before I show you what Ive created I have some fabulous news for you, we have two new members joining the A Team and that is Angela who has taken the place of Janie who unfortunately had to stand down last week as she has some family problems she wants to spend time over, and we were lucky to have Angela already on the Team as she wasnt officially suppose to start until January and will now start straight away, and now we have yet another new Team member to and that is Anne and she will be taking Louise's place come January but as Judith is unable to join us this week she is standing in for her, and Im sure you will see her joining in other Challenges before she starts officially. Its a bit complicated but I hope you understand and give the girls the welcome they deserve.
And now back to this weeks Challenge and as always our very generous sponsors and stunning owners and creators are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.

http://www.thepapershelter.com/

But as always this comes with the rule that you must have used one of their images, papers or printables on your card, and even if you havent they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice, so you really cant loose can you. Dont forget to pay a visit to The Paper Shelter website and see for yourself what brilliant value they are and you will find it here.
And now for my Card.

I have used "Shopping Girl" for my image and you will find her here, I printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, then used Nestabilitie Die Labels 8 to cut her out and the fancy one for the mount out of pink card.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pink card, the papers are from the Papermania "Born to Shop" and I have used three of the papers, the first a white background with hearts on, the second is a pink and white stripe one and I have used a Martha Stewart heart border punch on both edges and placed it on the first layer, then the third is a fun paper with flying handbags on a white background which was mounted on another piece of pink card.
The mounted image was then placed in the center towards the top and the sentiment was placed on a banner die across the bottom right hand corner. To finish of I have used the left over papers to create three flowers with a Die-namics rolled flower dies and placed them in the top left hand corner on top of some punched out leaves. The final flourish are the gems in the two opposite corners.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration.

My second card with the new Aurora Wings Images

Ive been trying to get this card made and posted for the last two days, but even though I had the image coloured I just wasnt sure how to show it, so I hope this layout is ok with you, as its a rectangle image and not easy to show. The image is called "Acorn Sprite riding a Red Squirrel" and I have printed it onto white card then used my copic and tria pens to colour it, afterwards I used the Nestabilitie Rectangle 5"x 7" die to cut it out and a larger one for the mount.
The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of orange card and the papers are from Sweetshoppe Digi Downloads "Pumpkins and Spice" paper set, the first a cream background with falling leaves, and the second is a brown one with spots on and the third is yet again the same leaves with a dark brown background behind it. These two have been cut in squares and then I have used the Martha Stewart Falling Leaf border and corner punches. Afterwards I placed my mounted image in the center towards the top and the sentiment below.
The sentiment is one I googled and this was printed onto a piece of white card and mounted on some orange card. And to finish of I have used some large leaf buttons and stuck them along the top and bottom of my card.

My first card with Aurora Wings Stamps

I found a new Image creator on Facebook its Mitzi Sato-Wuiff of Aurora Wings Stamps and believe me when I tell you they are stunning, I was obviously pulled into buying some and this one was the one I chose to use first, its mainly because my dear mum was very fond of Pansy's and the colour lilac and this was my way of thinking of her. I have printed this young lady "Girl with Pansies" onto white card then used my and coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I used my Nestabilitie Labels No.8 to cut it out and a fancy one for the mount.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of lilac card and the papers are from "Promises" from Nitwits, isnt it gorgeous and I felt it was just so right for this image. I have wrapped a lilac ribbon around the centre and I created a bow with some ribbon as well. The mounted image was then placed in the centre, with a sentiment below on a banner die cut.

Their library is very varied and Im sure you will find lots to cover this theme and anyone you have in mind and you will find their website here.
And now here is my card for this weeks Challenge.

The image I have used is titled "Vintage Phone" (or "I just phoned to say I love you" my song) and you will find it here, the image is so memoriable for me as I can remember them in my fathers offices where he worked in Moorgate in the 50s, yes I know I am getting old but its such a lovely phone that I was drawn to this image very easily.
I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I cut her out with a Nestabilitie Oval die and a fancy Heart one for the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and I have used a oval die and a smaller one of the main one for the mount for this.

I then wrapped around the middle a organza ribbon and tied to the back of the first mount, then on the right I have placed a bow and a gem in the middle.
I placed the mounted image in the center of the oval image on the paper and down the left hand side I have laid two leaf flourishes and on the curls I have placed the flowers punched out with Tonic punches and in the middle are some yellow pearls.    And we were lucky enough to be able to choose a image to play with and this is the one I chose.

This image is titled "Ho Ho Ho" and you will find it here, I printed the image onto white card then used my copic pens to colour it, afterward I cut the image out completely and used a snow writer on the edges of the little santa's coat.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and the first mount is a red card and the paper is from Do Crafts "Santa's Workshop" paper pad, this one is a all over house pattern. Then with a Tattered Lace Sleigh die I cut out the sledge with bronze mirri card.
This ws then placed towards the top and the image was placed below towards the right hand side, and to finish of I used a Simon Says Stamps stamp and banner, this was placed at the bottom on the right hand side. I used some of the bits that came out of the sledge die in the top two corners as they were to pretty to throw away.

I also used some Halloween charms around the mount.

I have used Nestabilitie dies to cut her out and mount her, a Memory Box Spider corner and Spider. I have also used some more Halloween charms to add around the image.  For my card I have used "Adorable Miss Hall" you will find her here, I have printed her onto white card and I have coloured her with my copic pens, afterwards I cut her out completely. The sentiment is one from my stash and this was then placed on a banner die cut from Memory Box.
The base card is a 6"x 6" white card with a first mount of pale green pearlescent card, then on top I have used the backing papers that came with the image and I have printed several pages and then layered them up, but before I actually did this I used a Tim Holtz distressing tool on the edges to distress them.
I then cut several leaf sprigs with the Tattered Lace die and placed them around the top of the top layer, and created a flower and placed it in the corner. The cut out image was then placed in the center of the top layer and the sentiment banner down below.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will also want to take part in this "Shabby Chic" Challenge.
