ABC Challenges - "N for Nautical"

Good Morning All, I do hope that you are experiencing better weather than we are in the UK this half month Challenge over at ABC Challenge Blogspot is all about water its "N for Nautical" this could be anything covering Sea or Ocean and Wild Orchids Crafts are out sponsors.

And Im sure that flowers are probably part of the prize so its certainly worth taking part in this challenge and here is my card for it.

For my card I have used this sweet Tilda image and stamped her onto white card, I then used my copic pens to colour and cut her out with my Nestabilitie Oval die then placed her on a scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment is also a Magnolia one and this also has been mounted onto a piece of the same blue card that was used for the image.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount of blue card the papers are from Sweetshoppes "Pirate Life for Me" digi paper set, and I have used three papers the first a dark blue background with Waves on and the second is a Anchor pattern and this was cut in a strip and Ive used a shell border punch from Martha Stewart down the side of it. The third and last paper is a sailing boat pattern on a white background and this was mounted onto a piece of dark blue card.
Around the middle I have wrapped a Skull and Bones ribbon over some Lace which was then stuck to the back of the first mount, you will find the lace at Wild Orchids. I then placed my mounted image in the center and placed several buttons at the top and I diecut the anchors in the bottom left with Marianne dies, afterwards I put the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will take part in this "N for Nautical" Challenge.
This Card is to be entered the following Challenges:-
