Challenge #161 - "Flower Power" - The Paper Shelter

Good Morning Crafters, I dont know about you but this year is going by much to fast for me, because here were are already into June and Im still looking for the summer weather, not sure if we are going to be lucky as Im sure I have now grown webbed feet. Anyway this weeks Challenge over on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot is being hosted by the A Team and we are expecting you to create a card with "Flower Power" and I know how much if you are anything like me love your flowers so I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
As always we are being sponsered by Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter, and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30.

to spend on their website, but this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and that could be either a Image, Paper or Printable, but even if you havent they will still give you 3 digi images of your own choice. But its worth a visit to their website The Paper Shelter and see for yourself what stunning images they have to offer and what fabulous value they are to.
And now to show you my card

for my image I have used "Spring Princess" and you will find her here, I have printed onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, afterwards I used Oval Nestabilitie Die to cut her and the Cheery Lynn Swedish Oval Die doe the mount. The sentiment is one from my stash and has also been cut with Nestabilitie Labels No.1 die to cut it out and a larger one for the mount.
The paper is also from the "Spring Princess" and you will find it here, and I have placed it onto a mount of peach card, which was then placed on a 6"x 6" white card and the mounted image was stuck in the center with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
To finish of I have created two flower sprays with roses on different sizes and placed them in opposite corners to flag the main image. And the final flourish are the three pearls in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot and see for yourself what stunning cards the girls have created for this "Flower Power" Challenge.
This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:-

Hi Shirley, sorry I am late commenting on your card. I think we all have frustrating weeks and last week was my turn to juggle and I dropped the balls.

This card is outstanding. The image is beautiful and you have colored her magnificently. The shading on this little image is perfection. She has the sweetest little face! Your card is such pretty papers and your flowers are perfect with the paper and the image. And those pearls in your arrangements on the wires? Those are so darned pretty. Gorgeous card, my friend! Hugs, Gail
