Challenge #385 - Flower Power - The Paper Shelter

This weeks theme over on The Paper Shelter is to use

Flower Power

on your card designs, and obviously this can take many ways of using them either in the backing paper, or even a garden topper but for me its all about adding them to the embellishments but the choice is yours.
For the last couple of weeks my life has been upside down, what with spending a dreadful noisy night in hospital for suspected stroke and the visits of so many members of my family lets hope now that things start to settle down again, being as we are rather a quiet family just myself, hubby and the two dogs it takes a lot out of you, it was lovely to see the family though and I miss them when they go.
Anyway back to this weeks theme.
And you will find some beautiful images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from to. Our Sponsors are and as always our sponsers are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.

But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't, they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are picked as a winner.
And for my own card I chose to use this image

This little lass is titled "Little Dutch Girl" as you would expect and you will find her here, I then printed the image onto white paper before colouring it with my copic pens, afterwards I used a rectangle die to cut her out and mount her then onto a piece of pink card which has also been die cut with a fancy edge. The sentiments are ones from my stash and have been stamped onto white card and mounted also on to another piece of the same pink card.
The base card is 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of pink card, the backing paper is from the same design from the image and you will find it here.
I placed my mounted image in the center with the sentiment in the bottom left hand corner, I used a pearl and diamonte strip down the right hand side with a bunch of tulips tied with a white ribbon in the top left hand corner.
Now that you've seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Flower Power" Challenge to.
