Good Morning Paper Shelter Followers, well it must be only days before the children start filtering back to School, I know my own great grandsons will be starting back soon and I'm sure their parents will be glad to see them return to School as towards the end of the holidays they really start to get bored and need the stimulation of learning again. So my choice of theme this week is
Back to School
and Im sure you can use a card to send to someone you know who would love to receive it.
But I think its time for me to get on and to remind you that you will find some beautiful
images over at The Paper Shelter and there's lot to choose from for this weeks theme to. Our Sponsors are and as always are The Paper Shelter and they are offering a fabulous prize of $30. to spend on their website.
But don't forget they will only give you the whole amount if you have
used one of their images on your card but don't worry if you haven't,
they will still give you 3 digi images or your own choice if you are
picked as a winner. Please don't forget you are allowed to enter 3
projects but one of these must carry one of our images please as its
only good manners don't you think.
He is titled "Back to School Madness" and you will find it here I printed him onto white card then used my copic pens to colour him, afterwards I cut him out with a square die and mounted him onto a larger one cut from blue card. The sentiment was printed from a verse I found on the internet and which I felt was appropriate for my card.
For my own creation I chose this image

The base card is a 6"x 6" white card and for my first layer I used a dark blue card the same one that I used for my image and on top I used the backing paper that came with the image which you will find here. Then on top of this I placed my mounted image in the middle with the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.
Now that you've seen my creation I do hope that you will pay a visit to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot to see what the rest of the Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "Back to School" Challenge to.This Card is to be entered in the following Challenges:
