Cards For Men - Challenge Fourteen - Christmas in July

Wow girls here we are at Challenge Fourteen and this one is going to give you a chance to get your Christmas cards started, as its "Christmas in July" and we are being sponsered by Roberta of Prairie Fairy Designs, and she has kindly offered 5 digi stamps as a prize.

Hello! I am Roberta from Prairie Fairy Designs. I am a new digital stamp company featuring artwork not only created by me but also my two kids, ages 8 and 11. They are featured on the site as the Fairy Princess and the Prairie Prince.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and have always loved to create. Two years ago my sister-in-law invited me to a rubber stamp party. I laughed and said "Maybe I will buy something if I can use it to stamp on canvases.". Needless to say, I was hooked! Two years later and a lot of learning about computers, I have finally accomplished my goal.

While digital stamping is relatively new in the papercrafting scene, it is what I believe to be such an amazing tool. Printed images have such clarity and vibrancy and gone is the need to re stamp an image because you didn't press hard enough or maybe you pressed too hard! They are also a lot easier to store and they can be reprinted over and over again. The fact that you can rotate and flip files, print them off the size of a postage stamp or as large as a scrapbook page makes them such a versatile medium. It is my sincere hope that I can help anyone who has hesitations about using digital images to embrace these amazing creative tools. And heres my card that I created with one of Roberta's fabulous designs :-

My eldest daughter is a great fan of penquins and this is why it attracted me to it so guess whos going to receive this one for Christmas. Ive used this gorgeous little fairy with her friends as my image and printed it onto white card before colouring it in with my promarkers then used my Nestabilitie die No.8 to cut her out then with some red card Ive drawn around the edge of the die to create a mount for it, before sticking them together Ive used a red inkpad around the edge, I can see I smudged it on the left, hope it doesnt spoil it to much for you. The sentiment is one that I found in my stash, this was mounted onto a red double ended tag.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of red card, then one of three papers yet again from the Nitwit downloads, this one is a blue one with an all over sentiment pattern on, the second layer is a red one with snowflakes on and the third the same in blue, but on both of these Ive used my snowflake border punch from Martha Stewart, these were then stuck across my card in strips.

To finish of Ive created some snowflakes with some left over white card and dipped them into twinklets crushed diamond glitter and with a few snowflake sequins theyve been stuck across the top of my card.

A Card for the Lili of the Valley Challenge - Sketch by "Dawny P's"

Hi Ladies hope you are enjoying your weekends, this card has been scheduled to appear while Im doing my most hated job the monthly shop. Anyway Ive created this card for this weeks Lili of the Valley Challenge "A Sketch by Dawny P" and Ive used this gorgeous image that I one in my blogcandy win from Elaine, bless you love this image is so cute that I thought it was ideal for a Get Well card. Ive stamped her onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens, after which Ive cut it out with a Rectangle Nestabilitie die, and used a Scalloped one for the mount. The sentiment was one from my stash and Ive stamped and mount this in the same way.

The card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of aqua card and one of three papers from the Kay Miller downloads, this first paper is a very pretty all over flower and leaf pattern, the second mount is a striped paper with the same colours in in stripes and the third layer is a all over blue paper with flowers on to, across the middle Ive stuck a piece of lace with a ribbon on top and attached them to the back of this layer.

The card has been made up as the sketch requests and my image was then stuck towards the left handside and my sentiment down the side of the image.

Ive then arranged three flowers in a corner spray, a rose and two crochet flowers with two layers of Hydrangea flowers and a pearl brad through the centre, these were stuck on top of a couple of leaf sprays with the rose in the centre. The last flourish is the corner pearls arranged in a L shape in the two opposite corners.

Well another Card to cover Two Challenges - Totally Tilda and Stampin for the Weekend

Hi Ladies, well I had a hell of a job to photo this card it kept making the image look blury I even asked my hubby to help and this is the best we can do. Anyway this card has been created for two challenges the new Totaly Tilda "Cream and Chocolate" and Stampin for the Weekends "Christmas in July" I sincerely hope that both these challenges will accept my card.

I used an image that was sent to me in some blogcandy and the paper is a bit different to what I normally use so I suspect thats why I was having problems with the blur on the image, anyway Ive coloured her with my copic pens and cut her out completely.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of brown card and one of three patterns from the Nitwit Downloads, the first one a very pretty all over leaf pattern in a couple of shades of brown on a cream base, the second layer is a plain paper with an embossed pattern on and Ive wrapped some beautiful lace around this piece that I received in my blogcandy from Chris, and the third a small brown and cream gingham, both these were stuck to brown card. I should have also said that Stampin for the Weekend had a sketch to create to and as much as I can I have, because the image is a sitting down one Ive created a frame for her to sit in, this has been done by punching a deckle edged rectangle with a plain piece for the mount, but Ive used some small peg stamps on this to take away the plainess of it and then stuck my image on the edge of the bottom to create a seat.

To finish of Ive created a flower spray with one Prima flower and some punched out leaves, this was stuck at the top on the right. The last thing is my sentiment which was positioned at the bottom on the left.

A Card for Two Challenges - Sir Stampalot and Penny Black at Allsorts

Hi Ladies, hope you are all looking forward to a relaxing weekend and lets hope the weather improves. Todays card has been created for two Challenges Sir Stampalots "Lazy Hazy Days of Summer" and Penny Black at Allsorts "A Burst of Summer Colour" and as I know that its necessary to use a Penny Black image Ive used this gorgeous little Hedgie relaxing in a hammock between two daisies, if only if were possible for us to do this but Im more like to crush the daisies just walking over them than relaxing in a hammock between two.

Anyway Ive stamped in onto white card then coloured it with my copic pens, after which Ive cut it out with my Nestabilitie square die, unfortunately it looks as though I used a bigger one that I should have as the scalloped mount Ive stuck it on is a bit small, never mind Im sure weve all done that at sometime or other.

The base card is a 7"x 7" card with a first layer of a turquoise card and one of four fabulous paper designs from Kay Miller Downloads, she does create some gorgeous patterns, if youve not been to visit her its certainly worth clicking on this link to few them http://www.kaymillerdesigns.com/shoppe/.

The first paper Ive used is a very pretty all over flower design and the other two are a varied orange stripe and a lime green paper on these Ive used one of my Martha Stewart border punches along the edges and layered them one on top of the other, across these Ive wrapped a piece of grosgrain ribbon with a ribbon tag on it with a sentiment from my stash.

The mounted image and a further square with yet the last of my papers have been arranged in a diamond shape at the top, and two flowers with some punched out leaves were arranged in two opposite corners. My final flourish is the two sets of aqua pearls at the top and bottom on the left and bottom right hand sides.

A card for the Just Magnolia Challenge - "A Pocket Card"

Good Morning Girls, well the rain did come last night and my garden is very happy about that, today has been rather cloudy but the sun did peek out for a little bit but not for long so not sure what our next lot is going to be rain or sun so we shall have to wait and see.

My card today has been created for this weeks Just Magnolia's Challenge "Pocket Card" and Ive used this gorgeous image that I received in my blogcandy from Crafty Chris, bless you my love and thank you, also a big thank you to Phillip as well as it seems he rather likes my blogspot name and thats why he chose me.

Anyway Ive stamped the image onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens after which Ive cut it out with my nestabitlitie oval die, the mount is cut out with the large scalloped one and stuck together with some foam tape.

The pocket card has been created with the tutorial that Just Magnolia have on their blogspot this week and its a really simple design and easy to create, Ive used three papers from the Papermania's Rose Garden set, which Ive used two on the two triangles on the two flaps on the front and one on the insert that goes in the pocket. Ive also used one of my Martha Stewart border punches for the trimmings on each of the edges. The sentiment is another of the Magnolia stamps and this was stamped onto white card then cut out with a Frame die from Spellbinders, inked around the ends and then stuck on the insert.

Ive created the pocked by overlapping the front two pieces and then stuck them together, then wrapped two lots of ribbon around the whole card and attached them together under the mounted image. I then stuck my image in the centre and created a spray of roses in the corner on the left hand side.

One Card for Two Challenges - Just Magnolia and Cute Card Thursday

Good Morning Ladies well its certainly cooler today and we are expecting some rain later on so lets hope it does come as my poor garden is really dry and the grass is very brown.

Anyway todays card is to be entered into two challenges, Mo's "Fabric" and Cute Card Thursday's "Lets get Fruity" and Ive also decided that Im going to use it as a thank you card to send to my daughters ex-partner who gave me a beautiful basket of Bizzie Lizzies when we were on holiday in Scotland last week, when I received it I wasnt sure I would get it back home in one piece but like a Triffid its grown enormous and is quite spectacular.

The image Ive used is "Fat Man growing Tomatoes" so I think it covers the Fruit title, and as this friend of my daughter is a nurseryman its ideal for my card, though I must say hes not fat hes a runner and not a bad looking chap. Anyway Ive printed him onto a piece of card and coloured it with my copic pens, after which Ive cut it out with my rotatrim and mounted it onto a piece of a green card. The sentiment is the Hero Arts one again and Ive stamped and cut it out with my circle nestabilitie dies.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of green card and one of three papers from the Nitwit downloads, a patchwork pattern is the first pattern Ive used and for my second one Ive used a check pattern and the third is a orange leaf pattern around which Ive stuck a piece of the raffia ribbon strip, to cover the Fabric challenge from Mo. These were then layered up as shown and the mounted image was stuck in the centre with the sentiment at the bottom on the right.

To finish of Ive found a material flower and stuck it at the top on the right hand side.

A Card for the Stampin for the Weekend Challenge - "A Sketch and Colour Combo"

Good Morning Ladies, another thank you for a very special person and Im sorry its been a long time coming. I wanted to create something with these gorgeous H&S images for quite awhile and at last Ive been able to use it for a Challenge and this one is for the Stampin for the Weekend one which is a sketch and a colour combo of "Blue and Yellow".

Ive used this gorgeous image which had already been stamped onto white card and then coloured with my copic pens, Ive then cut her out and mounted her onto a piece of blue card, the sentiment is one of the Hero Arts ones thats been stamped and then cut out with my circle nestabilities dies then mounted in the same way. I should say that Ive distressed the edges with a very pale blue inkpad, unlike the dark mauve I used on the card for the LOV challenge its not so obvious and doesnt show my mistakes, luckily.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card, now Ive been asked several times how do I obtain this size card, well I cheat I buy A3 card then cut it down to what ever size I want to use, either a 8" card of a 7" card as its a lot easier to decide when I look at whats going onto the card itself, I find working with the 6"x 6" card a little constricting and the 8"x 8" sometimes to big and then I have to fill all the spaces.

Anyway Ive cut out a base mount of yellow card for my first layer and stuck on one of four papers from the Nitwit Collection Downloads, I seem to use a lot of these downloads as the patterns are not so overpowering for some of these delicate digi images. This first one has a very pretty leaf pattern on, then the second and third mounts have two different blue papers, and the little corner piece up in the right hand side is yet another from the same set.

The card was then created subject to the sketch and Ive then positioned my image in the centre with the sentiment underneath on the right. The little bits of ribbon on the left were put through my Xyron and stuck on with a couple of buttons on the end. To finish of I created a flower spray with two different size roses and some blue stamens, I believe I got them in a sewing shop, but I think Hobbycraft also has them. The last little touch is the heart gem in that little corner piece on the right hand side at the top.

A card for the Just Magnolia Challenge - "A Sketch by Bev"

Good Morning Girls, well heres another thank you card being combined with the Just Magnolia Challenge "A Sketch by Bev" our Bev has certainly been busy this week with her sketches this is the second one Ive used I do think shes definitely got the creativeness for this and her sketches are really lovely to use.

Ive used this beautiful image of Tilda its from the new "Wedding" set, Im not sure if shes supposed to be a bridesmaid or a guest but she looks so pretty with her parasol, anyway Ive stamped her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens, then cut around her parasol then punched her out with my circle nestabilitie die. The sentiment is another of the JM stamps and this one Ive cut out with a heart die.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with two papers from the Kay Miller Downloads sets, a very pretty flower pattern for my first layer with a base colour of blue and the second mount is a striped paper with the same colours. On top of this I have stuck a lace strip, then punched two holes through the mount for my image and fed a blue ribbon through and stuck it to the back of the first layer.

On top this mount Ive put my stamped image and slid it into place, the mounted sentiment was then stuck at the bottom to the left.

The flower spray was then created and stuck at the top on the left and this consists of three different size roses and some punched out leaves. With the final flourish of three pearls stuck on the right at the top.

A Card for the Lili of the Valley Challenge - Sketch by Bev

Good Morning Ladies, thank you so much for the lovely comments yesterday, yes I do hope my hubbys cousin accept the card for my not feeling upto visiting her, anyway todays card is a thank you for Ians Aunt, and Ive combined it with the challenge for Lili of the Valleys "A sketch by Bev" and Ive used this sweet little image of this little mite playing tea parties. Ive stamped her onto white card then coloured her with my copic pens. Ive come to the conclusion that although I can take good landscape photos Im really naff at taking photos of cards they never come out as clear as some of you girls manage to do, sorry about that.

Anyway my base card is a 7"x 7" white card with three papers from my Nitwit Downlads, the first one is a lovely flower pattern and Ive layered it up on some mauve card, the second one is a striped one and this was layered on a dark purple card but from my photo it looks the same colour as the first one, anyway Ive used the same card for the third layer and this paper is a plain mauve with a texture pattern on, around this I have stuck a piece of lace with a satin ribbon threaded through and stuck to the back of this mount.

On top of this I have positioned my mounted image and my sentiment to the right, I have turned this to what it shows on the sketch as I really dont expect my hubbys elderly aunt to have to turn her head when she wants to read it.

To finish of Ive created a flower spray of cherry blossoms, babies breath, a rose and asters and stuck to at the top, its not meant to be symmetrical, so it looks a bit lopsided but I wanted it to cover a splodge Id left on my image when I was distressing the edge, Ive no idea where the little bit came from probably of my fingers.

A Card for Two Challenges - Mo's and Cute Card Thursday

Good Morning Girls, well Ive at last fulfilled my promise to create a card for you, and this one is to be entered for this weeks Mo's Challenge "Anything Goes" and Cute Card Thursdays "Recycle, Renew and Reuse", the lace of this card is one thats been recycled as I took it of a rather old fashioned tablecloth.

The image Ive used for this card is Mo's "Lacey eating an Icecream" as I felt at this moment it was just right for this weather, and Im also going to send it to my hubbys cousin in Edinburgh as an apology as the night she invited us to visit was the one that we had spent most of the time travelling to Dundee and St Andrews and to be absolutely honest I was tired and niggly so it wouldnt have been fair to put my edgy temper onto someone who I hadnt met, so I do hope she will accept this card as a means of saying Sorry. I printed her onto white card and coloured her with my copic pens.

Ive created a 7"x 7" card with a first layer of pink card and one of three papers from Kay Miller Downloads, these designs are really pretty and some are very funky, but Ive used a very simple trio for this card. The second and third layers are the two corner pieces and Ive used two different colour mounts to bring in the colours of the papers. Ive then stuck my lace strip across the centre and attached to the back of the first layer, on top of this Ive positioned my mounted image and my sentiment at the bottom, this is one of the Hobby Art ones.

To finish of Ive created a spray of flowers in the top left hand corner and gently sprayed the large flower with a glitter spray from Crafters Companion though you might no be able to see that. I had quite a job trying to photo it as Ive also popped some glitter on Laceys dress and icecream and you know how it glares back at you.

Hi Girls - Hope you are enjoying this weather

I thought you might like to see a few more of the photos we took while we were staying in Edinburgh, mainly because I havent managed to create card for you yet, Im still struggling to get myself straight from our holiday, I did spend several hours cutting and mounting stamps yesterday, and I guess you know how long that takes with all the stickyness as well.

Anyway these top two photos are of Holyrood House the official Scottish home of the Royal Family when their in Edinburgh on business, of course you arnt allowed in their personnal apartments but the tour you actually do is brilliant, you have an audio gadget that you take around with you and as you go into each of the rooms it gives you a spoken talk on all its history. The top photo is the approach to the front door and when you step through this you come to the quadrangle which is shown in the bottom photo, all beautifully kept and flowers in hanging baskets everywhere, definitely a home fit for any queen or king come to that.

This next photo is of a gorgeous sculpture that we found in Edinburgh itself just outside the Theatre/Cinema building its beautiful and huge, I love the way it curves and its sinews.

You carnt image how tall it is unless I left the people in the photo but it must be at least 20 foot high, and believe me it is beautiful. If you click on the photo it will give you a better idea and feel of its size.

I will try and get that card done today Im really behind with my challenges so I had better get my finger out and start creating. We were going to go out today for dinner, but neither my hubby or I are feeling a 100% so we will give it a miss for today, so you might just be in luck for that card.

Hi Girls - Im back

Well we are back from Scotland but we are absolutely shattered, we arrived back in Gloucester about 5pm yesterday after leaving Edinburgh at 8am so you can image after driving and the stops and starts plus the hot weather you can understand why we are knackered.

I must admit its a fabulous country as you can see from the photo above, that is part of the scenery on the way to Peebles. We originally went to Glasgow to visit my eldest daughter who lives in Ashgillhead and was amazed at how beautiful the area is. We visited one of my blogging friends in Falkirk and even managed one of the Scottish Heritage homes Pollack house while we were there, then we moved onto Edinburgh to stay for five days so we could take my father in laws ashes to scatter near his familys seaside home which is in

St Monans, as you can see from the photo its a fishing port, with a very small harbour. A really lovely place then we took his dads ashes upto the most gorgeous little church or kirk as they call them here and found a lovely little place on the beach to scatter his ashes as you can see from the photo below.

This photo is of the gorgeous little church on the side of quite a steep hill, but the churchyard around it also probably holds some my hubbys family though it was a bit to hot to discover where.

After visiting St Monans we went onto St Andrews, where they play the golf tornaments and here we went into the Cathedral ruins where his grandmothers family are buried and even managed to find the tombstone, so that was a lovely surprise as luckily Ian had been to see it before.

             

We had unfortunately gone on a day that they were giving out the end of year certificates so there were lots of undergraduates going around in their robes with their extremely proud families. But it didnt do anything to damper our enjoyment of a really lovely old town and gorgeous Cathedral ruins.

I hope you like these photos as much as we did visiting them, though it wasnt the easiest of visits to the Fife coast we did at least feel that we had done the right thing bringing my lovely father in law back to the land of his birth. We visited his brother and sister while we were in Edinburgh and they felt we had done the right thing for him so that was a relief and they could also say their goodbyes to, plus also my husband at last could feel that he could let his dad go, especially knowing the place we had chosen was so peaceful.

We did visit a couple of our blogging friends Avril and her daughter Nikki while in the area and I want to thank them for the wonderful welcome they both gave us, and for allowing us both into their homes, bless you both and THANK YOU we really did enjoy our visits to you both.

Well Id better go and start blog hopping you must think that Ive forsaken you so dont be surprised if you seen Ive popped by later on, have loads of jobs to sort out and stamps to cut out and mount. Will be back eventually with a card but at the moment my other jobs seem to be paramount.

Cards for Men - Challenge Thirteen - A Sketch by Meljen

Well here we are girls at Challenge Thirteen, and our last challenge was a outstanding success and Ive got a feeling that is one is also going to be one as well, as we have a really popular digi stamp designer sponsering us this time Melissa Jenkins of "Meljen's Designs", and guess what we are being offered 4 digi stamps as a prize, who wouldnt be thrilled to receive them to play with.

Im sure you will have as much fun as I did creating a card for it, heres mine :-

Ive used this gorgeous image from Meljen Designs this little lad pulling his cart I printed it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens and  promarkers, as the red is a lot richer. I then cut it out with my square Nestabilitie die but at you can see I used it as a diamond, I also used a scalloped die cut in the same way. The sentiment is one from my stash that just fitted inside the star Nestabilitie die, and Ive also cut a mount for it in the same way.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first layer of beige card and one of two papers from the Papermania Masculine paper pack, this first paper is an all over retro circle pattern, for the second layer Ive used a piece of the same beige card and run it through my cuttlebug with the star embossing folder, and around this I have but a brown strip of grosgrain ribbon and attached it to the back before sticking it across the bottom of my card. The last mount is another piece of the same beige card but this time Ive used a blue spotted paper, this was stuck down the right side and three star buttons were attached by glue.

On top of this I have stuck my mounted image with the star at the top on the left hand side.

Sarah's Hallam's brand New CD - "Feathered Friends"

As Im away till the 24th Im unable to post this in person so Im hoping that Mr Schedule will post this for me in plenty of time for my dear followers to see. My very dear friend Sarah Hallam has a brand new Cd and is going to be previewing it on Create and Craft this Thursday at "9am" I do so hope that you will be watching (Im going to record it on my skyplus, so I can watch it when I get back from Scotland) and supporting her.

The images on this cd are fabulous as youve seen in some of the samples Ive been showing on this blog, and todays card is no exception I do so hope that you like it to.

I have used this gorgeous image of Robin for this easel card, and I feel that perhaps Ive left this card to the last because its my favourite image of all of them on this CD. Ive printed out three papers for this one, two exactly the same for the inside as well as the outside, these were mounted onto brown card, then for the inside I have printed another paper onto photo paper and cut out this gorgeous row of robins them onto another piece of brown card then stuck in at the bottom.

The outer mount Ive used the same base paper, but Ive taken this tag paper into My Craft Studio and printed a greeting onto it, then cut it out and stuck it across the bottom on another piece of brown card. My main image has been then cut out and stuck onto another piece of brown card and positioned in the centre of the front. To finish of I have punched out some snowflakes and stuck them around the image across the top.

I do hope you enjoy this card as much as I have making it. See you when I get back from Scotland. I also have my DT card scheduled for the 21st, so dont be surprised to see it when you visit before Im back.

A New Challenge Blog Starts today

A Card for the Lili of the Valley Challenge - Sketch by "Dawny P"

Good Morning Girls, hope you are enjoying your Sunday, todays card has been created for this fortnights Lili of the Valley Challenge "Dawny P's Sketch" I used this lovely little stamp of a little lad playing computer games, like most children my grandchildren are great lovers of these machines. Anyway Ive stamped it onto white card and coloured it with my copic pens, then cut it out with my rotatrim as it was to big for a Nestabilitie Die, Ive then mounted it onto a piece of beige card. The sentiment is another of my stash stamps, with this I did use a Rectangle dies and for the mount Ive used a larger one, before mounting this and the stamped image Ive used a inkpad around the edge to distress it.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card and one of three papers from the Papermania Masculine paper pack, this first one is a retro circle pattern, the second mount is a striped one, and the third mount is a all over sentiment paper, these were then mounted as the sketch shows, Ive also stuck a ribbon across the centre as this was also part of the sketch.

A card for the Just Magnolia Challenge - "Mina's Sketch"

Good Morning Ladies, today Ive created a card for this weeks Just Magnolia Challenge "Mina's Sketch" and Ive used this sweet image of Tilda with her basket of flowers. Ive stamped her onto white card and coloured here with my copic pens, then cut her out with my circle Nestabilitie die, and then used a scalloped one for the mount, the sentiment is another of the JM stamps and was created in the same way as the stamped image. I should have said before mounting the image onto the blue mount I used two small stamp tapestry stamps to crete a background around the image.

The base card is a 7"x 7" white card with a first mount of blue card with one of two papers again from Donna's new Bearly Mine Designs, (she has two new sets coming out today pop across to her blog and see) this one is a pretty blue paper with a yellow daisy pattern on it, on top of this I have put a square of blue paper but before doing so Ive used all around punch set from Martha Stewart. Over the top of these two papers I have two ribbons down the card and attached them to the back of the first mount.

Ive then positioned my mounted image in the centre and the sentiment at the bottom on the right, to finish of Ive created a flower spray with a rose, wild cherry blossom and two asters around the image at the top on the right hand side.

Ive actually won a Challenge

I was absolutely stunned this morning when I went to visit Lili of the Valley Challenge site, to find that Id won last fortnights challenge, Im so gobsmacked as this is the first time that Ive actually won one.

One Card again for Two Challenges

Good Morning Ladies, well Ive at last created a card for at least one challenge, not sure Cute Card Thursday will accept my easel card but Im going to enter it and see what happens. Anyway this card has been created for Mo's Challenge "Easel" and Cute Card Thursday Challenge "Anything by a Square" I know Im stretching it a bit but its more oblong than square. Ive used this gorgeous image of Mo's called "Rae doing her journaling", or what we would say in the UK keeping up her diary.

Ive stamped her onto white card then coloured here with my copic pens, after which Ive cut her out with my circle Nestabilitie die and also used a scalloped one to mount her on. The sentiment is one I have in my stash and this was then cut out to create a ribbon tag. Before mounting both Ive used a mauve inkpad around the edges to distress it and then mounted both up afterwards.

The base easel card is a 7"x 7" design and two base layers are the same design from Donna's Bearly Mine Designs this one is from the Vintage set, Ive used two pieces of mauve card as my first layer and the paper was then stuck on top. For the inside Ive used another of the design a pretty rose and lily pattern to create a strip on which Ive used a border punch along both edges, over this Ive layered up a piece of the same mauve card which has been run through my cuttlebug with a rose embossing folder, then my ribbon tag was then attached to the back of this before sticking down on the inside.

The front on my card is the same as the base for the inside but Ive then created a square with the same pattern paper with my all around the edge arch punch sets from Martha Steward this was then attached to my mount but before doing so I used another of the same embossed pieces of card and stuck this at the bottom of this layer then the square was stuck on top before I then positioned my mount in the centre.

To finish of Ive created a flower spray with some cherry blossoms, roses and asters this was then stuck above the image on the left hand side.
