ABC Challenges - "F is for Festive"

Good Morning Crafters, we have now reached the letter "F" over on ABC Challenges and for this one the theme thats been chosen is "F is for Festive" and we are being sponsored by Magnolia-licious

http://magnoliastamps.us/index.php

And I decided to use one of my own Magnolia stamps and I chose this one

I stamped her onto white card and then I used my Chameleon pens, these I found quite difficult to use but I hope the end result isnt to bad (though I have now sold the pens as I much prefer the copics) I cut it out with a Nestabilitie die and used a fancy one for the mount which I cut out of blue card. The sentiment is one from my stash and have stamped it and cut it out with a smaller die from the same dies.
The base card is a 6.50"x 6.50" white card with a first mount out of blue card and the paper I chose to use is from Maya's "Coffee in the Arbour" paper set, I have used just one of the papers and then I laid a pearl spray on top before mounting my image in the middle with the sentiment at the bottom on the right hand side.
To finish of I have used three paper flowers in the top left hand corner.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to the ABC Challenge Blogspot and see for yourself what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you will want to take part in this "F is for Festive" Challenge.

And shes certainly been "Pinked" as you can see and you will find "Fairy Grace" here,  I printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, I then cut her out completely. The sentiment was one I created on my computer and cut it out with a circle die and a larger one for the mount out of pink card.

I also wrapped a piece of pink ribbon around the card on the left and created a flower display in the top left hand corner.

Playing with Tonic Dies

Good Morning Crafters, yesterday after experiencing a big problem with my ebosser I decided to give it a go and make sure it was still going to work (I managed to get a embossing folder stuck in my ebosser and hubby had a terrible job getting it out, and even had to dismantle it to do so) and as I had just received these new tonic dies I felt that I could create two birthday cards.
I placed the die on a piece of A4 card in the middle towards the right and then fan it through the machine, and then folded the card in two and placed a piece of colour card behind the cut out. I then used the flower dies to make the flowers by cutting them out 3 times and then coloured them with inkpads with the colour of of the card that I had put behind the cut out. Then used my embossing tool to create shape and then layered them up and placed them on the flowers of the cut out, and in the center I have placed a coloured pearl.
The final thing was the sentiment stamped on the card.

ABC Challenge - "Anything Goes"

Im not sure what happened to my scheduled post but its disappeared into the wild beyond I know I did write it up and its missing from my post list. Anyway I had better pull my finger out and write this up as quick as I can.
Happy New Year Crafters and I hope its a healthy one for those that were not to well last year and a lets hope this year is better, and for the rest of us crafters lets hope its a more inspirational one for us.
Well this first post for 2015 is for ABC Challenges and its a very easy one its a "Anything Goes" one we are being sponsored by All Dressed Up

https://www.etsy.com/au/shop/alldressedupstamps

We were lucky enough to be able to choose a stamp to play with and I used a this one that I had in my stash and I hope you like it to.

This little lady is titled "Ballerina" and I have printed her onto white card then used my copic pens to colour her, I then used a rectangle Nestabilitie die to cut her out and a larger one for the mount. I have also used a small one for the sentiment which is from my stash.
The papers I have used are from Maya and I have used three very pretty ones from "Coffee in the Arbour" and I have layered it up as you see it.
And to finish of I have placed six pink pearls in opposite corners, the mounted image was placed towards the left and the sentiment at the bottom on the right.
Now that youve seen my card I do hope that you will pay a visit to ABC Challenge Blogspot and see what the rest of the very talented Design Team have created for your inspiration and hopefully you to will want to take part in this "Anything Goes" Challenge.
