A Valentine Thank You

Todays card was made to thank the two people who share the delivery of my many, many parcels, I am going to send it to my local sorting office to thank them also, as its only a very small office you can guess I know a lot of the staff personally and want to show my thanks for all their help, patience and hardwork.

The main stamped image is again one of the Elusive Images Harlequin Rose Set stamps as is the lace tassle edge. I made the background by using my Cats Eyes Inkpads onto Stampboard and then stamping the image with black Stazon on top, then I triple embossed it with UTEE clear embossing powder.

I made the backing paper with several different colours of Glimmer mists and left this to dry. The base card is a A4 Red Card folded in half, I then used a piece of the glimmer mists paper and mounted this onto black card, then used my versamark ink and stamped the lace tassel edge down the front and covered this with gold embossing powder, which I then heated up.

Around this mount I stuck a wide Red Organza Ribbon, and then mounted the whole thing onto the Red base card.

I mounted my stampboard topper onto black card and then stuck this to the base card. The greeting at the bottom was printed from my computer and then mounted onto a piece of the glimmer mist paper and then onto black card, this I mounted over the red ribbon at the bottom.

To finish of the card, I hung a heart bead onto a spiral paperclip and tied a red bow on the top, which I then clipped over the ribbon.
