A Watercoloured stamped Card

Todays card has been made with the Art Impressions Stamps and my Marvy Le Plume Pens.

I have created my card with just a few stamps and several different colour pens, the Birdhouses were stamped with the Sepia Pen and then with a damp brush its bled out to fill the white background. I have used quite a few colours to paint the little houses. The background was done by laying some dots of masking fluid and left to dry, then over the top I have used a Pine green pen, by scribbling a little onto a glass dish and mixing with water to create a wash then its brushed onto the background. I also did the same with a blue pen to create the sky.

Once dry Ive used a vine stamp with the same colour green and stamped all over the place, its been left to dry and afterwards Ive rubbed of the masking fluid and filled in the spaces with a bright yellow pen to give the impression of flowers.

The two birds were then stamped with the Sepia pen and again with the damp brush filled in and on the breasts Ive used a red pen, which again I scribbled onto a glass dish and diluted with water then painted onto the birds.

Ive mounted the painted piece into a aperture card that Ive created myself and stamped a few extra leaves around the edge, then stamped a greeting onto the front at the bottom right hand corner, and stuck three flowers to the top left.

As Im on holiday for a week, this card will be the last one that will posted till I get back.
